PETER GRANGE

Very well performed, but a rather "heavy" story line to follow.

Panicking Ann

Interesting insight into American politics

Peter Cornish

Excellent production and performance ... seating position excellent, seats could be more comfortable. Bar selection drinks and products poor ... mainly ice cream!

Michael O'Brien

Excellent cast, great play. Go see it

Julie Heard

Jack shepherd owned the stage as the gritty, veteran President.

Paul Faulkner

The online process was very easy. Great night out.

I thought the play was well played. I am especially pleased with Martin Shaws performance

Christopher Argent

We did not like the play: while we knew it was political and would involve back room dealings, there seemed little enough humour to stay interest. We left at the half-time interval. We thought that that Maureen Lipman stole the show, and that the gabbling of the press was brilliantly handled though difficult to follow.

Christopher Boyles

Gore Vidal’s intellect, humour and clarity were evident in every sentence. Magnificent acting. An absolutely engaging and satisfying experience.

Paul Osborne

Great play written by Gore Vidal at a time of political turmoil with a good twist. Great performances by the whole cast with Martin Shaw and Jack Shepherd outstanding.

Pat Kelsall

This was wonderful and I went twice. Martin Shaw is my favourite actor and I flew from Australia especially to see him and the Best Man. It was brilliant.

Jacqueline Dalgarno

We enjoyed it. Topical, interesting, funny, with a nice finish. I thought the actor who took the part of 'The President' was particularly good. I'm sorry I don't have his name.
