NICOLE SCHERZINGER stars as the immortal Norma Desmond in ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER’s legendary SUNSET BOULEVARD.
This thrillingly atmospheric musical, which features an iconic score including the songs With One Look, The Perfect Year and As If We Never Said Goodbye, is reimagined by visionary director JAMIE LLOYD for a new generation.
Haunted by her memories and dreams, movie star Norma Desmond (Scherzinger) yearns to return to the big screen. A struggling screenwriter who can’t sell his scripts to the Hollywood studios may be her only hope, until their dangerous and compelling relationship leads to disastrous circumstances.
Drenched in champagne and cynicism, SUNSET BOULEVARD scrutinizes the ambitions and frustrations of its characters and their intoxicating need for fame and adoration.
The Jamie Lloyd Company’s SUNSET BOULEVARD arrives at the Savoy Theatre in London’s West End for a limited 16-week run from September 2023.

Review: Sunset Boulevard Will Leave You Buzzing, Emotional, And Wanting To See It Again
Sunset Boulevard, by Andrew Lloyd-Webber, has just opened at the London Coliseum, starring the stunning Glenn Close, for a very limited run of five weeks. It is a show to rival anything currently playing in London – so, if any of the adjectives in this review are anything less than emphatic, mentally change them for something better. Suffice to say, it was an incredible show.

Review: SUNSET BOULEVARD - ENO London Coliseum ★★★★★
I’ve never really cared for Sunset Boulevard if I’m being totally honest with you. When I was much younger and was first discovering musicals, I came across “With One Look” and “As If We Never Said Goodbye” and my love affair with the show started and ended there; other than those two songs, the piece never intrigued me whatsoever. It wasn’t until it was announced last year that the show’s original Tony Award-winning Norma Desmond from the Broadway run of Sunset Boulevard in the 1990s – Glenn Close – would be reprising her role in a revival of the show at the ENO London Coliseum this month that I got excited. I knew that I needed to see the woman who sang these two songs I love perform in the show that made her a Broadway musical theatre star so I made sure I was going to be down there. I made so sure that I was going to be there in fact that I have now seen the show twice despite the fact it has only played four performances. Needless to say, I adore this revival of Sunset Boulevard.
